Medicines New Zealand holds an annual parliamentary dinner inviting top international speakers to New Zealand to provide perspective on international standards, treatments, collaborations and advancements in health.
The 2019 Medicines New Zealand Parliamentary Dinner, like last year, was hosted by Health Minister, Hon David Clark.
Guest speaker Sir Andrew Dillon, CEO of National Institute for Health and Care Excellence NICE – UK, discussed how innovation and adoption is a shared challenge for industry and health systems.
The Parliamentary Dinner was attended by MP’s, health specialists, researchers, patient group representatives, pharmaceutical representatives and industry associations.
